My last exper. with this place, & with Dan Drahos (the head of the Anim. Emer. Care)
was very bad. The vet gave me Tramadol & I specifically asked for any side effects. The vet said there was only possible sleepiness. VERY WRONG. They gave me no printed infor. on the med. & was told later that day by them "you gave it to her; look on the internet". (this person has been 'corrected'). That still didn't help much. I still did not get accurate inform. from the vet to begin with. Didn't hear back from them for close to 2 wks. Finally called Mr. Drah. re: no return call, & other questions; & he just seemed to want to 'show off' how rude he could be and how often he could interrupt.
I sent a 2nd letter out to the Board of Directors w/questions & he still cannot provide any answers to questions re: the vet only giving out 1 side effect; why no 'list' of side effects was given, & other questions I asked. Mr. Dreh. called today (10/22) & seems to like to assume the worst of people; he actually said that I was going to take something as being 'rude & mean'. He was wrong; he spoke SOOOO quickly throughout the call I HAD to concentrate on what he was saying yet still 'missed' & didn't catch all of it. Yet he still refused to 'slow down some'. Yes, I'm on disability, & he even tried to label me something like 'being slower' (remindful of being called 'retarded yrs. ago'. This guy is completely rude & horrible to try & listen to or talk WITH. He said that he even thought that it was MY responsibility to inform him that I had a disability up front. I really don't think I should have to in order for people to be 'politer'/'decent. I actually did TRY the first phone call to ask him to slow down & why, yet he continually interrupted me, & all he would do was get defensive & tell me I didn't.
This guy, Dr. Drahos is very irresponsible & very rude in the way that he (apparently tries) to handle problems - he actually BECOMES the problem.
He can't even (or refuses to)give me any reason as to why I should trust the Animal Everg. Care again! He treats people w/disability very rudely & basically demands that they MUST inform him if they have one.
