As a business owner myself I pride myself on excellent customer service. My opinion is that when you make an appointment with someone at a particular time you keep it. If you are running late or anticipate that the other party will kept waiting then it is proper to notify that person. I'm sorry that we have kept you waiting, It shouldn't be much longer, Would you like to reschedule because we have kept you waiting for so long? I was not given any of those responses. What I did get before walking out after being kept waiting for 30 minutes, and after arriving early to fill out paperwork was what seemed like a genuine look of 'there goes another one' from the attendants at the front of the office. As if this happens all the time. Ladies, if you feel you aren't paid enough to do your job correctly then quit. If you feel that you disagree with your boss and agree with your patients then have an adult conversation with your employer. No introduction, no apologies, just here sit in this room and wait. When I make an appointment at a particular time I expect that appointment to happen and if not, excellent customer service. This was a poor first impression.
