I have seeing a therapist for about a year. I had to miss a few appointments due to medical issues and children's illness and first birthday. The therapist sent me a letter saying that she would No longer see me because I missed to many sessions. I explained to her that I tried to reschedule they appt but was told I would receive a call back, which I never did. When I called her to speak about this, she didn't want to hear anything i had to say. Very unprofessional to me. When they had made mistakes with scheduling or overbooking, I did not stop going to them. I am very upset that they would just end an over a year relationship like this. I would think twice before selecting this practice if you have children as they are not very accommodating or understanding to mothers of small children.

I visited Dr. Vanessa Gourdine at specialize therapy associates after my doctor couldn't diagnose my son's problems for couples of years. He was doing very poorly and wasn't like himself. After several sessions Dr Gourdine was able to diagnose the real problem and he finally got the treatment he needed. She took a holistic approach and not only did his behavioral problems go away but his overall health improved too. He is happy, well adjusted and doing really well in school. She took the time to investigate and find the real problems and was very diligent about follow up. I highly recommend her. Her staff was helpful and supportive through the process as well.

Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed.
