I absolutely loved my Psychiatrist and Therapist was the first therapist that I had ever truly opened up to. I am under a protection program from being a victime of a severe domestic violence crime. The number one person that I had an issue with in the office was the office manager. She apparently has more authority over the doctors or the doctor took advantage of the benefits of recommending I come in once a week along with me seeing the therapist once a week. I was driving from Temecula, CA to Riverside, so about an hour each way. I had given the girls a copy of my confdential paperwork and California Victim Compensation Board paperwork. They refused to conveniently allow me to see both the psychiatrist and Therapist in the same day because they "did not want to work with the CalVCB". As I am a Victim of severe Domestic Violence. I then had given, Karen, one of the ladies that work at the front office, my Confidential address and information that was provided to me by the safe at home program through the Secretary of State, Alex Padilla. They lost that paperwork not once, but twice. i was never allowed to speak directly to the doctor, always only the office manager. Without even a warning of my "agressive" behavior, I get a call from the office manager stating that they have already called my insurance and terminated me as a patient, and picked another provider for me. Again, with NO WARNING! They have me on severe and heavy psychiatric medications, and know the severity and I have at a point stated suicidal and this was how I was treated. Almost every new patient that I have seen come in and our of there has been complaining of the staff. This is definitely one lawsuit as the CalVCB stated and I will be calling the Safe At Home Program stating the case.

PLEASE beware of this office. They are out for your money and not your children's health. They ran our insurance, we were told that we were yes indeed covered, and cleared to book an appointment with Dr. Kotomori, several months in advance. Upon showing up to the appointment, they then said that our insurance was actually out of network and not covered- but that they could see our son that day if we paid $350.00 out of pocket. So, they lied over the phone to get us in there, then tried to scam our family out of $350.00. When pressed why they are now saying this, they said that they don't actually accept that insurance quite yet but will in a few months so we can book a new appointment for then! They refused to see our son, who was in great need of it, because of their mistake or scam- they were not willing to fix the problem. Please save yourself the hassle and time and find a more professional office who genuinely cares about their clients.
