Two different experiences. At 84 Hospital Ave, the waiting room is nuts. Absolutely no privacy and long wait times Very difficult to make therapist appointments b/c the only way to contact therapist is via phone, which always goes to voicemail.
The psychiatrist office on North St. was professional, efficient and timely for setting up appointments. Dr Mathias was very professional, listened well and open to parent/patient input.

Money comes first-not the patient or their needs. Vulnerable patients are being taken advantage of at this office nad have been treated badly for decades. Dr. Fry is not competent and actually made me far worse. Misdiagnised and given the woprng prescription. Should not be "treating" patients at all. It is all about money here and flnging whatever medications the pharmaceutical rep just brought--plus the usual kickbacks doctors get. Avoid this entire office for your health's sake or that of a loved one.

Like one other reviewer I too am only seen for 5 minutes. The patients are treated like cattle. My Doctor actually took a leave of absence and I was called the day before my appointment and told I would be seeing someone else. Currently looking for a new Doctor.

This is not a place to get competent help The entire office is about money and the staff is downright rude. It says a lot about the staff "treatiing" patients if the current environment is allowed to continue. It is not the way to treat anyone never mind patients.

Misdiagnosis is dangerous and happens frequently here. Over medication is also an issue but they love their pharmaceutical reps and the benefits they get from prescribing particular medications. Avoid this office for your own sake or that of a loved one who needs competent help.

The psychiatrist I see spends a maximum of 5 minutes with me each time I drive the 25 minutes to see her. She asks me the same question at least three times because she isn't really paying attention when she asks, she is just doing something on her computer. When she went on maternity leave, I met with a different person and he was just as bad. He didn't even read my chart before I went in and seemed really confused the whole time. He didn't even know which medications I was on. The general vibe of the office is that YOU aren't important but YOUR MONEY is.

Unprofessional staff - especially one nasty receptionist. Make mistakes constantly with our appointments and billings.

Dr. Perera spends at most 5-10 minutes with us yet we are charged for a minimum amount of 25 minutes.

He piles one prescription on top of the other without really taking time to talk to us.

all the doctors know how to do here is write a prescription! The receptionist are all very unprofessional!!! I had one of the young girls tell me she didn't like my attitude after she gave me a hard time with an appointment. This was not my first time having a problem with them. I actually stopped seeing my dr. for a while because of how bad the front staff was. You would think they would be a bit nicer to mentaly ill patients not add to there problems. my advise is run do not walk far from this place.
