I was referred to Ms Coates by a friend. Her fee was outrageous and 50 minutes were spent talking about the friend that referred me. Never went back. Not sure she can be trusted with patient confidences.

Absolutely, they always make me feel like I'm their only client.

Absolutely! They were very entertaining!

Yes

Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in!

Absolutely not! I was seen right away!

No, they didn't even attempt to explain

No, they definitely favor certain clients
Does this psychologist give unbiased advice?
Not really. It felt like they just cared about making money.
Did you feel like this provider's office was understaffed?
Definitely, they had one person trying to do everything

Not very well. I had to really look for it before I found it.

Yes, they listen to all complaints and make every effort to correct the situation.

No, my appointment started at the scheduled time

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

Somewhat, but it's still difficult to get an appointment

Customer service? What customer service? The receptionist is nice, but only speaks when necessary or told by the Dr. Any appointments made are usually changed by the doctor. I've never met a professional that was such a narcissist. Social climber is a good sum up. Referrals by who's who will get you in. Unbelievable. Not worth the drama and pretentiousness, not to mention mental health issues that deal with ethics. Bad news all around.

They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand. Not only were they the best psychologist I've ever seen, I think they were the best health provider I've ever seen. They make everyone else look like they just started practicing yesterday. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. They are the most attentive, caring psychologist I've ever been to.

Dr Coates is known in very well to do circles in San Antonio. Her initial demeanor is very accepting and enthusiastic and she is attractive for her age. She is an extremely smart woman and if her ethical standards were held to the honor of the doctorate she has earned, she could potentially be very effective in her practice. However, through years of counseling on and off her advice began to become inconsistent and sometimes self-serving. She often talked more about herself or spoke about private issues of other prominent families by name.

My worst fears were realized when an acquaintance spoke to me at a social function and referred to very private information known only to me and Dr Coates. She has no business practicing when ignoring the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm. The emotional trauma by her betrayal cannot be reversed. If I had the strength to do it, I would take her to court.
