When someone you love is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, it is shocking. Watching your loved one “disappear” little by little and cease being the person they once were, is excruciatingly painful. At the Alzheimer’s and Aging Resource Center of Brooklyn , you can find comfort and support. Its Director, Henni Fisher offers one on one counseling sessions and runs meaningful Support Groups. There you get to share your experiences with others who are going through the same thing. This makes you feel less lonely. You learn ways to cope and techniques to use in dealing with your person - and you get a glimmer of comprehension as to what it’s all about. I am so grateful to Ms, Fisher and her wonderful center.
