I have been coming to a psychologist at Affiliated Psychologists for a number of years. I have never left an appointment wondering if I had learned anything that mattered. I always had gained something useful in helping me along the road to greater self-understanding and to resolving personal pain, to grow in self-understanding, to help me find a key to solving my problems, to understand past hurts or joys, and to realize that there was something deep in me that kept me going back to trying to solve many of the same old problems which still were not totally resolved. Maybe some day I will have dug down to the core of those issues, and then all will be solved. All this time I have been adding tools to my tool kit to help me understand myself and others and maybe even to help some others work through tough issues. What can I say, these years of experience of working with my counselor have been years of growth in self-acceptance, in self-understanding, in everything that truly matters to me. I have never felt looked down-upon. I have always felt compassion and understanding. I am not young, but I want to continue this personal exploration as long as I live. It has made life better for me and my family and others. A friend said to me recently that she would never want to need such a "crutch" (counseling) as I have needed to get through these last years with their many stresses and health issues and sadness and death for me and my family. I would say that yes, I needed a crutch, if that's what one chooses to call it, but I have been blessed to receive all the help I have been given, and I am very grateful for what I have received.

Absolutely! I never have a problem!

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!

Absolutely! This provider always listens carefully to what I have to say!

Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!
