My kids and I have been a patient of both Dr Matthew and Dr. Rachel for the past 5 years. They really are exceptional health care providers! Whether Im there as a neurotic mother of a small child or for myself, they take time to calm my fears, answer my questions and make sure I understand all of my lab results and plan of care. They are very patient answering questions and really want you to understand what's going on with your health. I feel that they do not order excessive lab tests or procedures like some providers. They go over your results one by one so you really understand what's it all means. My family and I have been extremely happy with the care we receive at Utah Natural Medicine. And, their staff (namely Teri the receptionist) is kind, patient, maintains confidentiality and gets phone messages answered in a timely manner. None of the front office control stuff you deal with in some offices!

Dr Rachel helped me with my problem. She listened and gave me a simple treatment that worked. Wished I had gone to her first instead of last. I recommend natural medicine.

I have a friend that told me about this clinic after she had a total turnaround in her health after seeing Dr. Rachel. When I first called Utah Natural Medicine to schedule an appointment, I was sad to hear that it would take weeks before my appointment. I almost decided to try another doctor that I could get into the next day and I'm so glad I didn't. I realized that there's a reason it takes a while to get in - she's busy because she's OUTSTANDING and people have caught on! You can't get care many other places like here. She actually listens and does her best to help you figure out WHY you're sick and then she talks about diet and how eating differently can help you! I've never had a doctor talk about nutrition in the detail she does! I've lost 25 pounds since I started seeing her and I'm so much healthier and happier. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. My first appointment was 2 hours long and was packed with information and education. I always have tons of questions and she answers them all patiently and even types what we talked about on a treatment plan to help me remember every detail when I got home.

Naturophatic medicine is unique because of the relationship between a naturopathic doctor and his or her patient is a partnership. Dr Rachel Burnett is a vital partner in this relationship. I am continually impressed by her intellect, research curiosity, and cutting edge information that she brings to each of our visits. Salt Lake City is truly lucky to have her in town as she is a world class physician. Its a blessing in the medical community to have a personal advocate that believes in looking for the root cause of a problem opposed to just giving me a drug and calling it a day.
