Geri Carter is the most professional and attentive therapist I have ever interacted with. Her ability to listen and understand is unmatched and her direct techniques have facilitated rapid growth and change in my life. She is very accommodating, wiling to go at my pace, and meets me where I'm at. Geri has been extremely helpful to me, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to take charge of their mental health. 5 stars.

I went with my daughter to seek therapy with Geri Carter and was disappointed. There was no communication to me as a parent after the session of what she felt would be beneficial for her. Didn't even let me know what she thought would be the best way to help her or even if she felt she could help her. There was no compassion in my opinion. In my experience with therapy, the therapist let the parents know what would be best for the child as far as how often they need to be seen and what the goals will be for them. This experience gave me neither. I was told that just make an appointment when you think your daughter needs it. I left the office feeling hopeless for my daughter.
They may be great therapist with adults but I would not recommend them for children.

My name is.............. my daughter is ............... I had an appointment with Geri Carter on Tuesday 30, 2016.
I'm very unhappy, dissatisfied, and disappointed with your services. I was shocked of the therapists approach. Using profanity words and giving my daughter advice to block her mother, meaning keeping her away from me. She mentioned she is a family therapist. I think she needs to go back to school and see what family therapy is about. It was pretty disturbing to me and she has no rights to be a therapist. All she's done is add more damage. She's very unprofessional.
Moving forward, I do not want my daughter seeing anyone from this office. I think she's being taken advantage of because she's very naive. She was pulled into something she shouldn't have been. The therapist is preying upon her vulnerability.

Geri is one of the most emotionally mature people I know. She listens to you, can put terms to what you are saying and sometimes even offers some of her personal experience that confirms she knows what you are experiencing. When I asked her to help me with the psychology of what I am learning, she can always refer me to additional books, videos and resource so that I can gain additional perspective on issues.

I was referred through a friend and choosing her was the best decision for me. I have carried something valuable out of every session. This week, she rearranged her schedule for me. Later she checked in by phone because of the circumstances I had. I consider Geri not only a counselor and advisor, but also a personal friend and mentor.

Choosing a mediator or counselor is an important decision. It is also a personal one. You can trust Geri to listen, advise and demonstrate the utmost professionalism while showing personal care.

Geri Carter badly hurt my self-esteem during our session, I would not recommend her to anyone. There are therapists that exist out there who will listen to you without damaging you or mocking you for your problems, Geri Carter is not one of them.

I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. This provider has so much helpful information available online. They have an impressive website that's easy to use, with forms that you can fill out before your appointment. They also have a great online presence in multiple directories. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care.
