Unfortunately, this clinic is not what you need if your pet has a serious illness. They are similar to the vast majority of other vet clinics in that only after you part with several thousands of dollars after many visits will you actually find out what is wrong with your beloved pet.

My dog presented classical symptoms of a breed specific incurable cancer on my first visit to this clinic. After two visits and nearly $1000.00, yes that's one thousand dollars, I was given some antacids for my dogs "upset stomach". The vet informed me that the next step was surgery to take tissue samples. There would of course be many other costs and tests to finally determine what might be wrong with my beautiful young female dog. I knew enough at this point to see that the priority at this clinic was for me to spend thousands of dollars. The end result was the same, the death of my beloved dog. I never went back, she was humanely euthanized elsewhere.

This clinic is like most and is adequate for shots and spay/neutering. Other than that, buyer beware.

Was your pet anxious to leave this veterinarian's office?
Not at all! I've never seen my pet so calm. They really have a gift with animals here.
When your pet had to stay in overnight care did this veterinarian call you with follow-ups when they promised they would?
No, they would call sporadically but I never felt fully informed
Was this veterinarian able to perform all basic as well as complicated procedures?
Absolutely! They handle everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care
Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit?
Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!

I have been to Gentle Care many times. My pets mean a lot to me and everyone there seems to really care about them. There are long term staff there which also says something good about their satisfaction with how things are going. They are without fail kind and considerate. Both Dr. B. And Dr. H. are good clinicians, communicate well, and take the time needed to identify the problems and come to wise decisions. I trust their advice and I am grateful for their services.

The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. I can always count on this veterinarian to be there for me, whether it is to answer a late night phone call or come in for an after-hour emergency. Their dedication to their clients is unparalled to any other vet I've been to. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places.
