The new owners at Murphy Animal Hospital/Grooming/boarding are fantastic. I had visited Murphy prior to their taking over several years ago and the atmosphere/vibe of the place was very dark and the facility was not maintained well. Since taking over, Jeff and Shannon Flegle have transformed a dirty, unappealing place to a bright friendly and SPOTTLESS one. We have been having our 2 dogs grooomed and boarded there off and on for the past couple years and they have really exceeded my expectations on levels of professionality, and knowledge of animals. They are very flexible. Even though we use another vet as a primary, we have found that Shannon is very flexible and has been gracious enough to step in and administer vaccinations and medical advice at a moments notice. On top of the great staff, Murphy offers a truly wonderful service that no other facility around does; Sunday morning Boarding pickup. It is so nice to have the opportunity to pick up our pets on Sunday morning and not have to worry about making arrangements for pickup (not to mention the additional day fees) on Monday.

If you live in the area and were scared off by the old owners, do yourself a favor and give Shannon and Jeff a try. You (and your pets) will not be disappointed.

All of my questions were answered. Their staff is friendly and professional. I was satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. I found the office, but only because I had simple, very clear directions. I'll be going back. I didn't have a bad experience.

Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible
Was this veterinarian able to perform all basic as well as complicated procedures?
Absolutely! They handle everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care
