Their prices are pretty high, but I've had to spend more at other places. However, what really matters to me in the choice of a vet is his expertise, his compassion and willingness to talk with me and answer my questions. I have seen all the vets here with my dogs as I have a history of doing dog rescue. Each vet is VERY good, is highly qualified and an expert in vet medicine. The vets are also very compassionate and caring. I have had some dogs with some very complex medical conditions and they always help me manage these dogs and their illnesses. My most recent experience was with Dr. Jerry Champion and a dog I rescued and her very complex old hip fracture which had not been treated. He was most kind and took an hour to talk to me about the results of his examination, the xray, her prognosis to help me make a decision whether to have a very complicated surgery or if I should put her to sleep. When it comes time to put the animals down, they are VERYcompassionate and caring. They take their time in answering my questions so I can make a decision that I am comfortable with, no matter how emotionally painful it may be. The technicians and staff outside of the front desk as MOST kind and understanding. They treat my dogs very well. When I call the office I am never put on hold for a long time. They are completely committed to helping me and my pet as long as it takes to find the best solution. The front desk staff was helpful but they are sometimes cranky and short. The front desk ladies make sure you KNOW without a doubt what time they close and that you are to RUSH to get there to talk to the vet or pick up your dog well before that time, no matter what the driving conditions might be. At times I have felt they were rude and I have spoken to the vet about their shortness. Of course, nothing changed. I find their Saturday hours 8 to noon very inconvenient - but they aren't going to change that either. All in all - the care the vets give my dogs and the back office staff make it worth putting up with their limited hours and their sometimes cranky or short front desk personnel. I am very comfortable taking my pets their and will continue to do so. I know these vets are experts in their field and am very confident in their treatment, diagnosis and care of my pets.
