I was told appointments were not necessary, when I arrived there were others there and I had to wait but for me, this was good, as it gave me a chance to see how others were treated and to over hear clients comments. I found this Vet to be very well respected by those there. Dr. Scarbrough is not talkative but he does hear you, may take a bit to answer but he DOES answer. I was very pleased with the treatment of the two cats w/infections that I brought in, they were doing fine in a matter of a few days without a problem. I have a 13 yr. old Lab/Chow who is my baby girl and I don't trust her with just anyone but I plan on taking her into the office in the next day or two, just for a check up. I have every confidence she will be in good hands.
If you are looking for a fancy new office building and young, inexperienced Vet, this is not it. If you are looking for a Vet who is experienced, cares for you pet and doesn't charge an arm and a leg to treat them then, you have come to the right place. This is a 60+ mile round trip for me but well worth it!

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

Not at all! They exceeded my expectations

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in!

Absolutely, my pet always get so much attentiion

I met Doc and his wonderful staff in 1999 when I had to part with my 14yr old companion suddenly. I have since had to part with a 12 yr old tom cat, and I gladly put the care of the remaining babies I have in his loving hands. He is the most compasionate and caring Vet and man I have ever encountered in his field. I was allowed the time to say good by to my companions and he took gentle care with their remains at his own pet cementary. This is not just a Vet this man is the tru Pet Hero and we love him,. He puts up with alot from my Pom, and he always tells my husband that "you've got the only Pug in the world born with No Ribs" because he's so fat. Thank you Doc and If anyone is in need come to Brookhollow

I was forced to move to Ga after years and years with Don and his magnificent vetlets! He taught me so much about my animals - after all he is a 'country vet'! I have been in Ga for 3 years and cannot find another Don. Maybe one doesn't exist. He made me smart enough to know exactly what I want in a vet. I'll just keep looking.

Don and my my vetlets, I miss you! A nail trim here is $10 - thanks for teaching me how to do it myself. It is also nice to know Baby Boy will NOT die from a copperhead bite. Benadryl and then the vet for antibiotics -"snakes do not brush their teeth!"
