Amazing bedside manner and amazing man. I've never been so impressed with a service provider- I wish my own doctor was this good! I can trust my dogs are in great care when they are in this office.

I've never had to worry about them not being able to help me right when I need it. His staff is very knowledgeable and qualified. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. If you are looking for a veterinarian that goes above and beyond, look no further. They offer after-hour services for any emergency and will not hesitate answering phone calls or taking a pet into their clinic after hours. It is so reassuring to know that if I need them, they will be there for me. They were so informative, and thoroughly answered every single question I had regarding pet care. They cared for my dog as if she was their own and even cried with me as she was euthanized at their office. I always leave feeling like I learn a lot.

I met Dr. Shaffer when I took one of our cats to a shot clinic in Sioux Falls, and was very impressed by the way he handled our somewhat agitated kitty - authoritative, but very gentle. Subsequently, we adopted a pair of sibling kittens, and, wanting to take a little of the financial pain out of having two spayed at the same time, I decided to take the trip to rural Lennox to Dr. Shaffer. Before the spay, I emailed Dr. Shaffer with questions, which he kindly and quickly answered, and he did a fantastic job with the spays. My GPS got me directly to his clinic with no problems. Picking up the kittens, I was again impressed with his gentle manner. This fantastic care, along with the most reasonable pricing in the area, left me completely satisfied. It is a bit of a drive, but I will definitely go back.

Doctor Shaffer is the best vet I've ever taken my animals to. Even though I've moved to Sioux Falls since first visiting Dr. Shaffer, I continue making the drive to Lennox. The office is always clean and cozy. The doctor has such a wonderful way with the animals and my dogs love him and his wife. Very easy to make appointments with. Prices are fair. I wouldn't dream of taking my animals to anyone but Doc Shaffer.

My animals love Dr. Shaffer and his wife. Animals are like kids, they know when they like someone. His office is small and cozy, neat and clean and does not smell like medicine. His pricing is fair and honest and he is not greedy like the vets my friends go to in Sioux Falls. They always take the time to address every concern of mine if I have a question. Dr. Shaffer and his wife are very friendly and treat pets as if they are a part of the family. I could really tell how much they love animals. I live in the Sioux Falls area, but I drive to Lennox. His office is out in the country. You are not paying for a fancy smancy office, but quality care. I had an onery male cat once that would let only my husband and myself touch him..took him to Doc for a shot and he was his buddy instantly. It was crazy. Animals just know. Give him a try and tell your friends.
