Very biased counselor who didn’t offer usable solutions to our problem and only made things worse. I would choose someone else and not waste your time here

I've been seeing Dawn for a couple of years now. She is the best therapist I've ever had, and I've have 11 of them. I can really feel that she cares. Sometimes I forget that she has other clients because when I'm in her office she's so focused on me. Dawn has helped me to get out of an abusive relationship and stand on my own feet. I'm in a place where I'm able to live on my own and plan for the future while continuing to resolve my past trauma and family problems. She has worked so hard to help me make my life better. I don't know how I could have ever done all this without her. She's an angel.

Dawn Sarna is my current therapist. I have been lax in not providing a review for her. She has been my therapist for 2 years and I don't know what I would do without her assistance. She always takes the time to REALLY TALK WITH ME not to me or at me. I feel like a real person with her. I had been through many so-called therapists before I found Dawn. I honestly felt like they were hurting me instead of helping me. Dawn has had to undo what the other therapists did and start all over with me. She truly has saved my life.

Dawn Sarna did provide a decent service in the beginning. Then she started missing our appointments. Appointments were regularly cancelled last minute or she would simply not show up for appointment without any notice or explanation whatsoever. This is very unprofessional for anyone especially someone who calls themself a therapist. She never took any notes and would never remember if talked about something already or what the main issues were. We truly needed help. We gave her so many chances for that reason. No one would take the time out of their busy schedule just for the fun of it. Not only did her (dis)service not help us - it put more tension between us. We wished we were one of those couples whose marriage she saved and our review and story added with "happily ever after." I hope this helps someone else before they waste their time and feel as if they have some bond like we did and wasted so much time and money. Needless to say we are looking for someone who truly respects their clients and is willing to help 100%.

Dawn Sarna saved my life, marriage. Dawn gave me a second chance on life. No therapist in the world is more honest, caring, and completely invested in her patients. My wife and I were with her for 3 1/2 years and is capable of such compassion that is unmatched by any health care professional and the only person in the world that could break through and reach me. Therapy is painfully difficult, hard to accept but with a "professional" who never leaves you, never gives up even when you do and stay to the task at hand. Well, the only thing left is to be saved. We moved to Florida or would still be seeing her and miss her so very much.

Dawn Sarna is the most intelligent, intuitive, nurturing person it has been my pleasure to know. She accomplished in one session what another therapist couldn't in two years of therapy. I recommend her to anyone who requires help in dealing with the frustrations and pressures of every day life.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
