My cat is 14 years old and was in GREAT health. Very suddenly, he took a turn for the worse. He had seen Dr Prato before so we took him back to see her again. She was NOT compassionate at all to our situation. Instead, I felt like she tried to take advantage of our desperate situation and all she did was recommend extremely expensive ($600+) options for us to take with him. We declined to take the expensive route and went with medications which helped. For two weeks he got a lot better and then got really sick again because one of his blood clots popped. This was a medical emergency. Dr Prato was too busy to take a couple minutes to see him and instead made us schedule an appointment 12 hours later. Again, she showed NO compassion to us or our dying pet and was more concerned with making money. DO NOT go to her! Find a vet that loves your animal as much as you do and cares about it.
