I've had better visits at planned parenthood, i was given a 30 days pass for free service but 5 months later was billed almost 300 dollars. I was given false information and service wasn't that great either. Quest diagnostic finally billed me for 300.00 just now in January 2014 from some urine test I took at the birthing project in mid august 2013. I had only 2 visits between the 30day pass they gave me and yet they charged me. I called to dispute this and the admin told me I will have to find that 30 preventive pass they gave me, come on?! that was last year...how can I? And also they don't have it within their records. I think they need to pay more attention to their job and not give people false info. If you are going here, please be aware of this!

If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't
say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the
best. They briefly listened to me, but quickly downplayed everything I said or stopped paying attention. They were a little too argumentative and angry. They didn't seem like they wanted to listen to almost everything I had to say. I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health even after I left the office. They followed up with me after my appointment and everything. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort.


Not to mention having to wait 2 hours for your appointment. Losing your file and not giving you the right paperwork for your tests. Which you have to go all over Sacramento to get done, because they don't do ultrasounds, blood work, or anything else. I would say find some where better.

Being it was my first pregnancy and i knew next to nothing about what i needed care-wise this was an o.k. place for me to go. they are nice people and a welcoming place. they had me take all basic tests and get everything done that was nescessary the only thing that upset me was at the end of my time there they scheduled my appt. to go see my gynecologist with a whole three week gap between doctors visits. i was 36 weeks n i didn't see anyone until i was 39! really? everyone i spoke with about it was somewhat shocked. that and the fact i was charged ten dollars to have my disability paperwork filled out by them only to have it sent back to me which turned into a whole ordeal of its own. this wouldn't have been as big of a deal except i was on unpaid leave and was relying on getting that check to pay my bills. and my last quip is the wait time there was at times rediculous. i understand you get walk ins but if you schedule someone in advance there shouldn't be an hour wait. but hey its free prenatal care so you can't expect the best.

I felt immediately welcomed. They were friendly and made me feel at home. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience,
and they were by far the best I've ever seen.
