I definitely don't trust their advice. They are faith-based and do want to talk about their faith and how they can help you in that area. I don't mind a little bit of that, but it was clear that is their agenda. I felt they were disorganized and even though I realize a lot of the staff are volunteers, there were times I called and the person answering could not answer my questions. I respect Dr. Crosby but some of the other doctors were pretty dismissive of my problems and since I was nearing Medicare age, they didn't help me with my back problem--which was the reason I was last there. I asked specifically for a prescription and was told to take Aleve several times a day--I would have been happy to pay for a prescription muscle relaxer to allow me to work and drive. The certification process is pretty involved. They weren't careful at all, and I was in a lot of pain after my appointment. I was given a brief greeting when I walked through the door, but no one made any sort of effort to help me. I felt ignored. There would be a 3 to 4 hour wait appointment or not.. I wish they had made more of an effort to be on time. One time there was a mix-up about an appointment (their fault) and they didn't apologize at all; in fact, made it sound like it was my responsibility. Their office was nice and quiet sometimes; sometimes crowded. All in all, I'm glad I won't have to go back there and feel sorry for patients for whom it is their only option. Medical Outreach Ministries in Montgomery was much more compassionate--I had thought I would have the opposite experience there!

They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field. I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. I feel like they always have a special going on every time I visit. Even if I don't bring in a coupon the staff will inform me of the promotions they have going on so that I can save money. They definitely care about patient comfort because they have the best waiting room chairs I've ever seen. I could have easily taken a quick nap while waiting for my appointment.
