Dr. Gil is always wonderful but I wish he would get more professional people working in his office. The front desk is always understaffed with one person trying to answer phones, check people in, sell merchandise and check people out. It is too much for one person. The vet assistants are not overly friendly and some can be outright abrupt. At my recent visit I did not like hearing a worker somewhere in the back of the facility repeatedly yell with a nasty tone, "stop", "stop it" to a dog that was crying back there. This was very upsetting to hear and it bothered me that Dr. Gil and all the other staff did not even seem to notice this being done. We have been utilizing Northport Animal Hospital for over ten years now but I think it is time to find a new vet.
