Dr. Cynthia Young is a wonderful vet she has been taking care of my animals for 7 years now. I would recommend to anyone to take your animals there. For shots for routine care for boarding. They take great care of the animals the bedding is clean the laundry is done constantly. If your dog or cat has an accident their blankets are changed. If your animal needs medicine they get the medicine they need.

I have been bringing my dogs to this clinic since I moved here 6 years ago. Dr Young is the most caring and compassionate vet I have ever had. She treats every animal that comes through the door like it was her own. My dogs LOVE her! The staff there is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Young takes whatever time is necessary during your visit to explain what the treatment options are and to listen to any concerns you may have. She has even come to my house to give my dogs their yearly check-ups and vaccinations. I have recommended her to my friends and they now take their pets there too. If you are looking for a vet that cares about your pets as much you do then this is where you want to go. I would highly recommend Cape Veterinary Practice.

We've always gotten great service and vibes from this staff. Examinations to immunizations, to boarding, they've always been fair, caring and well priced.

My wife is very particular about our pet and she has peace of mind when we board and go out of town. Our pet is very healthy and well cared for

I have been a client of Dr. Young for over 5 years. I would never trust my "kids" in the hands of another vet. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. They always greet me by name and usually my pets/fosters, too! They are all patient with my "not always on their best behavior" dogs. Dr. Young is the most caring and compassionate vet I have ever met. She always takes the time to explain things and answer questions when I have them. She treats the patients as if they were her own pets. Dr. Young even took two of my cats home with her on different occasions when they needed constant observation. I can never say enough about how much I appreciate all they have done for my animals!

It can be very difficult in this time of computer reviews where someone can sit behind a keyboard anonymously and falsely, maliciously attack a person's livelihood without consequence. It's even more difficult for a doctor who cannot divulge the specifics of a case in order to avoid violating doctor/patient confidentiality. If you read ALL the reviews good and bad you will see great reviews and awful reviews... How can they be so different from the same business? Please come in and see for yourself. The clients who will have positive experiences understand that this is not a free clinic--businesses must charge in order to stay open and if clients don't pay, the clinic cannot help other pets. However, this clinic does consistently charge 20-30% lower prices than area clinics. And it is very clear when meeting the competent and compassionate veterinarian that she treats the pets as if they were her own and actually likes people too! This clinic will not put healthy pets to sleep. And the doctor will not tolerate verbal abuse against the staff. For any complaints or concerns PLEASE don't yell at the staff... talk to the doctor, manager, or owner for resolution or clarification.

Dr. Young truly cares about the pet and the pet owner. Her professional, compassionate, and expert manner makes you feel like a part of her family. She cares for a little group of animals who were unwanted by their owners and when you see her with them all you can think about is Dr. Dolittle - they follow her around the clinic, shadowing her every move. One of my own pets was very ill and Dr. Young worked day and night to get my little dog well, she even took him home with her so that she could watch over him at night. The practice manager, James, is professional, compassionate and down-to-earth. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Cape Veterinary Practice.
