I have been going to Dr.Robertson for many years and have been very happy until recently when I put my dog in the car as she could not walk comfortably and in doing so I left my purse on the garage floor.

The staff would not treat her or even take a credit card over the phone from my daughter. I was treated without ANY sympathy or understanding and one of the staff thought it was quite funny that I was so upset. My dog has had surgery there several times as well as having her teeth cleaned. My credit card as well as my debit card is on file and yet they would not treat her and the charge was only $19.

Fortunately it was not life threatening but I will not ever go back to their office. I drove all the way to Sacramento the next day with her being very uncomfortable. I called a Vet there and was able to get her in right away. They took her in and treated her without even asking for payment!!! Not like your office and I have to say it was very refreshing.
Perhaps they could treat clients like myself with a little more understanding and not be penalized by a few that have not paid in the past. I was completely appalled.

Compassionate. I moved back to Los Angeles from Canyon Lake, and drive over 2 hours to have Dr. "Shell" take care of my dogs. ๐Ÿ’œ

Absolutely horrible vet. I brought my dog in their happy and healthy for a visit he told me she had lymphoma gave her chemotherapy without doing a biopsy or pathology report she has been poisoned has not eaten or drank anything since 10 days ago been at the emergency room twice she's not going to make it because she never had cancer and he poisoned her. She has spent the last 10 days eating nothing drinking nothing throwing up 50 times a day blood coming out her butt he has destroyed her and our family. He has never said sorry or offer to pay for anything. It was my first and last time there,I read lots of Yelp reviews he has killed many animals by not diagnosing them properly. Save your pet's life and don't bring them to Canyon Lake Animal Clinic to Dr Robertson. Only posting this because I do not want any other animal or family to have to go through this devastation. I lost my 12 year old dog who I love with all my heart for no reason.

Been to a lot of Vets over the years but this one really impressed me the most with his whole caring attitude towards animals . His services are great and so are the costs for the services . I have told lots of people that this is the place to take your animals for the best of care and very reasonable costs for services ;) .

Been to 4 other vets in area and he's reasonable, no nonsense and keeps its simple understanding they are animals and not children in fur coats with a short life span.

Had to have our beloved pet euthanized today. Dr. Robertson and the staff were extremely kind and caring. I was very grateful for how they treated us during this horrible ordeal.
