Dr. Schwabe really knows her stuff. She takes the time needed to address the animal's welfare. She is very knowledgeable and helps the pet owner to understand what is going on and what is needed for treatment. When my dog was having issues that appeared to be heart related, but all the 'tests' came back showing no heart problems, she dug into the books and figured out that a medication for seizures was causing the muscle weakness and ataxia! She helped me immensely when my other dog had advanced liver disease - I believe my dog lived longer and had a better quality of life than would have been possible without Dr. Schwabe's help. She is my hero.
