I've been here many times before as I have a few dogs and cats. I've always been treated well in the past but recently they've been doing what all other vets do, overcharge. I recently took my cat there, (now I'm permanently disabled so I only get X amount of money to live on per month ) My cat was looked at given treatment as she's on phenobarbital because of seizures. I was done, so I thought and was checking out. When a staff member said, "oh wait you didn't have the pheno level test done" ..I was like ok I guess I need that inorder to get the prescription so how much can 1 test be? Little did I know (because it wasn't explained beforehand) that not only did I not need the test done but they're going to charge me $251.00 just for that test! It took my bill from $109 to $360!!! I was very upset, complained and even went back there the next morning to ask for this bill to be removed and refunded. No one would help me. Like I said I'm disabled and this is the reason there's so many homeless pets, the price gouging. Sad because I always trusted them before. I can't afford my pets, thank you Loris animal hospital.

We have been going here for over 16 years. Excellent care. The Vet keeps up with the latest technology but doesn't over charge for bells and whistles that are not necessary. If you need a specialist he is happy to refer you.
I wouldn't go anywhere else

I was always very happy with the doctors and staff. I also appreciated that they never made you feel like they were hurrying to the next patient. They always took the time to explain everything until I was comfortable. I once was there for a visit with my dog when another person dropped off their dog to be put down due to illness. I personally saw the staff in tears for this older dog the owner was already gone and didn't see the staff upset however I did and realized how blessed I was to have such a caring staff and doctor taking care of my babies. If you need a great place for your animals care this is where you want to go for a Doctor and staff that care!

I haven't been here in a few years since my Kiwi passed but this is the only vet I will go to.They are reasonable as far as rates go and will work with you on payments. We just got a puppy Friday and plan on taking her to see the vet tomorrow Monday July 28,2014.
