KEPT DOG WHO IS DEAD OVER 3 MONTHS!!!

End of May our dog was very sick in evening. Took him to this clinic as they were open and we had been going here on and off for over 8 years. Doctor saw him and started treatment. Was to be kept overnight and doctor would follow up with us the next day. I paid half of what they estimated the bill to be the first night. He sadly passed away during the night at the clinic. The next morning I called to see what had happened and asked him to be cremated. We did not want remains returned. I was told it would happen. Asked for bill to be sent to me.

Six weeks later, in early July, (the first surprise) they called to tell me the dog was still there and they wanted payment. Told them I was furious he was still there six weeks later and repeated request for itemized bill. Talked to manager and was told that he would be sent to crematorium the following morning and an itemized bill would be sent. Was told procedures would be put in place so it does not take six weeks to follow up on remains of animals that had passed away.

Got the bill two weeks later. Not itemized just a balance due. Repeated request for an itemized bill that was never sent.

End of August got another surprise call telling me the dog was STILL there, THREE MONTHS after dog passed away, and they wanted their money before they would cremate him. Called Manager again to request bill on what was done. After two days of back and forth finally got an itemized bill e-mailed to me in September. Said would not cremate him until full bill was paid so I did pay it.

I agree with the reviews of the decline of this clinic. They seem to have a difficult time getting me an itemized statement (rather than me just paying what they said the bill was). Seems to me there is little respect for the animal. Who just leaves a dead dog laying around for months? Why was there no follow up to request? Why is there nobody following up on deceased animals still at the clinic?

After being told the dog would be properly disposed of TWICE, I now have a "promise" he would be put to rest quickly. I guess I will have to cross my fingers. Seems a sad way to say goodbye to a love one.

I took my akc registered Rottweiler in for a neutering and the BUTCHERED HIM!! I was Sooo upset!! I came back in an was sat down an told while snipping his (testies) that a vein or tube slipped down an they had to go in an get it?? I looked at my big guy and his SCROTUM was cut and stitched ALL THE WAY TO THE PEE HOLE!! 😡😤 it looks TERRIBLE!! After a year the hair on that line of scar tissue still doesn't grow right!! They ruined the look completely of my dog and everyone who meets him asks was he in an accident due to the noticeable HEAVY SCARRING!! No apology nothing!! No after care check up!! Nothing!

Yes, I never forget my pet's annual check-up thanks to them

Absolutely! I was never asked to leave and stayed with my pet the whole time

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

Unbelievabley gentle, it is very apparant they truly care about pets well-being and comfort
