After telling Michael Murphy DVM my cat was vomiting and could not hold anything down, he forced barium down her throat (he said she struggled-wouldn't you?) which she of course vomited and then aspirated (choked on and drowned in) and ultimately poisoned her. She suffered the torture for four hours before finally dying. I brought her in because she had lost her voice, was vomiting and he said she had a 1 degree temperature. He did an x-ray and did not find a blockage but wanted to do barium to be sure. He did not say he was going to make her drink it. I had just told him she could not even keep down water. He should have known from that, she would throw it up. She was still full of energy, was loving and purring before I brought her in. She was only eight and the love of my life. I miss her terribly and know she suffered unbearably from this man's bad decision. Is there no recourse? And she is now gone forever. I brought her in for help and he killed her. She trusted me.
