We have been taking our pets to St Louis Veterinary Center for the past 35 years. We were appreciative and enjoyed the care and personal service that Dr Wagenknecht provided. Over the past few years they have added additional veterinarians. As a result, the veterinarian that exams our pet is usually not the veterinarian that does the follow-up exam or the phone call. The familiarity with us and our pets has been lost. It is exasperating to explain the same issue with three different veterinarians. In addition, they seem to be preoccupied with billable time and it feels like they are nickel/diming you for everything. To me, they have gone west county corporate. I have lived in the city for most of my life and enjoyed the personal service of the many businesses that I frequent. If I desired west county corporate then I would be residing with my siblings and parents in west county. As a result, I sadly can no longer recommend St Louis Veterinary Center and encourage you to go elsewhere.
