First of all I think the last anonymous has this place confused with somewhere else. I don't believe there is or has been a Dr. Koch at this vet and nor are they after hours or 24 hour emergency service.
Anyway, my visit here was quite exceptional! My vet used to be at a big fancy clinic and sure it's nice to look at but I could never get the appointment time I needed because they were always so busy! My dog is scared of people so being in a full waiting room at that was hell for me and her! Upon my first call to Carter's I asked for pricing which I thought was much cheaper than my current vet and asked for an appointment time where the waiting area would not be full! They were so accommodating! They had my dogs info faxed to them and had all the paper work already filled out for me so I didn't have to do a thing! On top of that they let me bring my dog right back to the exam room so I didn't have to struggle with her in the waiting area barking at people which is always embarrassing! The doctors assistants were very nice and seemed to know their stuff! Plus they were gentle with my dog since she has anxiety! I think they ended up making friends with her before the visit was over which is amazing! The visit didn't seemed rushed and I felt very well taken care of. My dog needed vaccines and her yearly exam which I ended up paying almost $100 less than at my last vet and they trimmed her nails for free which was a plus! If you're looking for a good place to take your pets, look no further!

It's so refreshing to find a vet that isn't always overwhelmed by too many pets. They are able to spend as much time with you as you need and are never rushed off to see another pet. They've never been late to any of my appointments. I've even showed up early sometimes and they've always been ready and prepared. The staff is always competent in answering all of my questions. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy.

We went with our dog to Dr. Koch who is a young Doctor who had no idea what was wrong with my dog. I never had such an unexperienced Doctor before specially on a night shift at Animal Clinic who doesn't really know what to do and just pointing of the dog has back pain. Give me a break my dog doesn't pooped right since days and was not a back problem at all. They charged us for a simple visit almost 100 USD. I wasn't even a penny worth it.
