Office stuff unfriendly below poor, treating patients as unwanted guests. They not answering phone calls in the office location (not schedule center) They canceled my appointment for 7 mins. late arrival ( I had two transplants) Nurses: Mainly friendly but suspicious about every word you r saying. Feel like in criminal hearing. Dr. Patel: Completely ignoring patients pain situation. Ignoring fakts provided. Very impulsive and not coordinated. For almost 4 years to be his patient I saw him once the rest of my appointmens i saw nurse practisioner. She is deaf on every request to meet with doctor aND evaluate medical condition. Accusing patients to be pain medication seeker or doctor shopper. Be aware of this doctor. All the good reviews are written by Smurf's

He was very caring and followed the advice to give me a shot in a different area and now I can sit without tears. His nurses are nice too!

Today was my first and LAST appointment with this doctor! He walked into the exam room like a little bully ready to steal my lunch money! he clearly suffers from SMD (Short Man Syndrome) when I tried to talk, he said, wait a minute let ME TALK! I thought doctors are supposed to listen, obviously he didn't learn that in medical school!

He was presumptuous, when he said if you came to me for stronger medications, I am not your guy, I am sure if you look around you can find your guy but its not going to be me! He rattled off a list of narcotics he would not give me, which I do not take or ever taken except for Vicoden from recovery after 13 surgeries. In fact I used to tell doctors I was allergic to them so they would not prescribe them to me!

He is extremely unprofessional. I showed him my previous MRI's and medical reports and he flipped through them, waved some of them in the air and said the place where I had my tests done were not any good and he went on and on telling me how bad they were and inaccurate, poor imaging and and did not let me tell him anything!

He never treated me like a patient, asked me anything but lectured me on a bunch of self- important things about himself! He is arrogant, rude and egotistical! He criticized other doctors from the reports I showed him, mind you he didn't even read them!

I sat there with my mouth gaping open in shock listening to him trash other doctors and imaging place where I had my MRI's.

I don't understand how he can be in practice with his demeanor so bad and belittling to a patient he just met and be verbally abuse in the first 10 seconds! I have come across bad doctors in my life but NEVER one that slams other doctors! Run, don't walk away from this doctor! He has major issues!

Very bad experience with the doctor. I couldn't believe how he didn't even care about the patient. Hello!! Treat us with some respect and talk to us like we are educated. I was very disappointed and wouldn't go back to Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel was not a doctor I would recommend anyone to go to. When you have a spine issue, you want the doctor to be caring and listening, not rush you in and out. His demeanor was not professional. I highly recommend you find another doctor if you want someone who cares, listens, and follows up.
