Absolutely professional and compassionate care. They made my entire family feel welcome in what we thought were going to Mom's last days. My grandniece, who is five, was relaxed and comfortable - a far differ situation from the hospital. They allowed us to bring Mom's dog to stay with her. It was truly like being in someone's home. We took turns spending the night and the staff was very helpful. With all of the attention showered on Mom, she has turned the corner and will be leaving to go to a SNF - and the Brun House was an important part of her recovery. Thank you.

While Bruns House Hospice undoubtedly is an excellent facility for terminal ill patients, there is a dark side, and maybe a national scandal there. To be admitted, a doctor must certify that the patient has a terminal illness and expected to have six months or less to live. 1,000 patients a year enter that six-bed facility, indicating the average life remaining before they die is only a few days. This strongly indicates that many are put to death. My other half, Glenda, was forced to go to Bruns House on sham doctor declarations, and within hours of arrival, was converted from a laughing and energetic person to comatose and then died. I feel strongly it was opiate-induced homicide, protected by the California regulatory and other personnel. The full story of Glenda Guilinger is much worse.

I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered.

I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. The loving client care that they provide with excellent support to client and family is excellent. I cannot say enough to thank the staff members enough.
