Caring Staff. Sweet faciliy. Especially appreciated Addmissions, Karen. She pretty much held our hands throughout my Mom and Dad's journey. She was professionalism with a heart. She listened to our concerns and was our parents' advocate to the end of their lives. Thank you Karen. The staff was at times short-handed but still caring and compassionate and followed through on tgeir responsibilities. The facility was spot on clean. The atmosphere was like a family-home more than a facility. The residents took part in games, enjoyed entertainment and were taken on social outings. Thecphysical therapy depatment was encouraging and kind to both my mom and dad. I did not meet any owner, but because of all I described, and more I believe they must genuinely care for the people who are residing at Valley Haven. Thank you Valley Haven caring for my parents in a way tgat gave my family peace and appreciation.

No, I didn't feel comfortable at all
Did the staff at this senior care facility seem up-to-date with the current advancements in their field?
No, they could have used some continuing education courses
Did the staff at this senior care facility ever take personal phone calls when they were supposed to be helping you?
Yes! They took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.
Does the staff at this senior care facility always take that extra step to make you feel special?
Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond
Was this senior care facility's staff friendly?

I felt my family member was and is very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. They do such a great job. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. They went out of their way to make my friend feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to his situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. They are completely committed to helping my friend and all residents as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem at other places. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that they can be counted on to always be there for their residents when needed the most. These people are amazing and have the biggest hearts in the State of West Virginia.

Very! I've never seen an employer treat their staff better

Absolutely! It couldn't have been easier!

They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time.

Kind of, it wasn't unbearable but it was definitely loud

Yes, I think I could have gotten better service elsewhere
