1 star is really not a reality they are worth NO STAR . If you have family or a friend in Granite Hills you need to get them out of there . I have gotten the San Diego Grand Jury to render an indictment against them and they will be shut down soon .
I can not legally go into detail as it is going into litigation as soon as the indictment is served .
I can say this much legally my wife has been physically beaten by a staff member on numerous occasions and she has dementia and Ahlzheimers and she has no idea who she is or who anyone is and she has no brain so I am moving her so she be cared for properly . Get your loved ones out of there before the doors are closed , chained and locked .

My wife got into a altercation with a resident and a nursing staff member got in between them , grabbed my wife threw her to the ground she sustained a large hole in the back of her head , she had to get rushed to Alvarado and Granite Hills is denying this ever took place .
I am now working with hospice to find her a new place . The next most urgent matter is that the Federal Law for these types of facilities is running blood tests and urine tests and they have never done one in a year now , and Alvarado Hosp. at my request ran blood and urine test and told me that she has a very serious urine infection and she will be admitted . I had Alvarado CHECK MY WIFE'S RECORDS AT GRANITE HILLS AND IN A YEAR NOTR ONE TEST WAS EVER DONE ANOTHER VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW AS OF November 23 2016. THEIR LICENSE IS EXP;IRED BY 2 YEARS AND THEY NOW HAVE 245 BUILDING , FIRE , AND CITY CODE VIOLATIONS AND NO AIR CONDITIONING . Don't hurt your family members they don't deserve this place.

I would not put my dog in their . One of granite Hills TOP DOG just resigned , and walked out within an hour of doing this . I approached her to ask her why ? and she said because the place is hurting people and taking to heart what patient family members tell and her and is leaving before the place goes to court.
There are 135 building and fire dept code violations , although they do not need permits to operate , their licenses are out dated and expired . Their staff are beligerant and nasty , they don't watch handicapped patients , to witness a patient go out of bed on her own and fell and severely was bruised . I am looking for another place to put a family member in . I DO NOT RECCOMMEND GRANITE HILLS.

Their phone rang a lot and it was really annoying

Not the worst, but certainly not the best

This facility is out of date and needs to do a lot of work. The management team is constantly changing in less then a year they have gone threw 3 administrative staffs. The current management team do not treat the other staff with respect and need to work on communication. As for the patients the are miss treated by some of the staff. I do not recommend placing your loved ones in this place. The current residents have stated that they want to leave but can not.
