I am disappointed in the facility. Started out good but has gone downhill. I ask for things to be done but rarely are. Sorry we placed my Father there.

As a former employee I know first hand how this facility works. Management favors certain people. They do not listen to staff when they have concerns or complaints, especially the don who also talks to the residents like they are babies. As for the aides they constantly leave residents sit in their soiled depends for hours and leave food on the faces and clothes after meals. Just recently a resident died because of neglect and the most favored rn supervisor and don said he just had " poor circulation" when really he was in septic ahock and had pneumonia. Please do not send your loved ones here. This place is going down hill.

Last night as I visited my mother, I was very disappointed with my visit in the skilled unit. For one, the dog. He/she was very disruptive; barking, running in and out of the room, taking my mothers stuff out of her room and ripping it to shreds. Not only the dog was disruptive, so were the nurses. Two young women nurses were being very disrespectful to all those who were trying to rest by talking extremely loud and singing as loud as they could. They were being very unprofessional. On another note, The aide taking care of my mother on afternoon shift was very caring and took very good care of her while I was visiting and met all of her needs but i was highly disappointed by the nurses.

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!

It smells of urine and I don't think the disinfect enough. My parent acquired Mersa and C-diff while there. The food is horrible. Worse than prison food I was told by a prison guard that that his dad there. All they care about is money. They don't care about the people. I saw a lot of depressed people living there. It is drab and lifeless. The residents are not allowed to sit outside in nice weather without staff and there is never enough staff. They are forced to stay inside breathing piss smells. On top of all this my parents clothing was stolen on a regular basis. We bought nice clothes and they were never returned from laundry. I would never recommend Countryside to anyone.

Absolutely! It couldn't have been easier!

Never! I don't think I've ever been put on hold here for a long time

Absolutely, they always make me feel like I'm their only patient.

Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible

Not really. I had to schedule an appointment for most of my questions.

Every single time, even if it's been months since my last appointment!!

No, they were polite

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

The staff must have not been trained very well. Almost every time I would ask them a question, they'd refer me to their boss or someone else. They don't have that great of a professional reputation in my community. They definitely aren't known for being experts. They do not know how to help their patients in Memory Lane, they tend to keep the patients in a drugged state so they don't have to take care of them.
