NOT a good place at all. My mother in law left there worse than when she went in. She was only there for 26 hrs before I pulled her out of that place. They made her sit in a soiled diaper for atleast 35 mins. and that was not ok with me.

this is Jane again. also, they said they could treat pneumonia there, when my husband went out in an ambulance with dbl. pneumonia and heart failure , they still had not diagnosed it or put him on an antibiotic. and they were apprised that he was a high risk patient for that with COPD. they kept telling us his lungs were ok. I had the feeling he would just sit there till he became deceased if I had not rushed over when he called me and noticed his hands were blue. if you ask for a test, i.e. MRI, they have to wait till the doctor comes by on his weekly visit to run it by him. not having a doctor visit once a day is a big failure for those who are really sick and end up needing more than physical therapy.

No idea about level of healthcare they provide however, DO NOT do business with them unless you are willing to wait 90+ for payment. I wonder if they allow patients the luxury of 3 months grace to settle accounts.

I agree with the fact that they do not know what they are doing there. my husband went there December 1, 2014 for physical therapy on legs to help him get out of his chair better and with back pain. he left December 14 in an ambulance to the ER with double pneumonia and heart failure. they did not call an ambulance or even have an oxygen mask on him when I got there that morning after he called me. they finally called 911 after I got there. he spent 11 days in critical and intensive care at the hospital, went to the cardiac floor and on the 3rd day there, lost his life after being so weakened by the battle. he had asked for a pulmonologist consult, but didn't get one. need I say more?

My husband arrived at Brewer Rehabilation in late January and is receiving excellent care. All levels of nursing are great! The PTs and OTs are working very hard to get him mobile again even when he is a little disagreeable. The administrative personnel are most cooperative and helpful. They went out of their way to help me as well as my husband . And by the way, the food is excellent , Koodos to the dietian and the chef!

The staff at this institution is extremely friendly and well meaning, but I have extreme doubts that any of them know what they are doing. My grandmother was recently put into their care after a fall. She was released worse than when she entered. We kept getting excuses for why this was. I'm livid. I would suggest that everyone think twice about putting their loved ones into the care of this incompetent staff and therapy system.

While the staff is well meaning and positive, they are incompetent and rigid. If you are sick, time at Brwer Rehav will make you sicker. It is impossible to actually receive medial attention (there is one doctor whose main job is to avoid seeing any patients. The only treatment that they offer consistently is to increase dosages of mind altering drugs to make patients more compliant.
