The staff never walks the patients. They all seem to lie in their beds all day and night. They never go home. They don't get stimulated so atrophy sets in. All are on ventilators. One member told us that only two patients have gone home in 4 years - one was a child! They are only interested in keeping everyone IN BED forever - until they die. Check it out! You will never see them walking anyone, let alone try to wean them off the ventilators. My friend's grandson was in a car accident in his teens. He had multiple fractures, but his brain was fine and needed to walk and exercise, but after almost 5 years, he was NEVER walked and he's still in the bed 24/7s, hooked up to the breathing monitors and stomach tubes and he shall, sadly, die there.
