Dr. Cooper's office in St. Mary's before he was associated with VA Eye Institute was great. I was coming to their office for years and the staff had been superb from the front desk to the technician. I tried to scheduled an appointment today with VA Eye Institute Appt. Line and I got a run around transferred me to R. an (804) 484-3200 number and I hot an answering machine. This is not good customer service when the appointment line transfers you to another number to make an appointment, more so you get a machine. I guess it is true that the bigger the practice, the less customer service or it is becoming more impersonal. I did not get any mailing that Dr. Cooper was joining VII and VII does not participate with my medical plan so I have to change doctors after all these years.
