Dr. Lee is a skilled practitioner, technically. More importantly, he reads widely, has a wide range of practical skills and advice to supplement his medical and related professional expertise and advice. I gather I was one of his few adult patients, but, my issues related to early childhood trauma, and, he did as well as I could ever have wished, to help me recover my life.

I admire this man.

Dr. Lee has been a true blessing to my youngest son whom is on the spectrum and my oldest who suffers from ADD. My children have been seeing Dr. Lee for several years. His knowledge, patience and willingness to work with the entire family has kept us on track. He's an amazing Doctor!

Dr. Lee has worked with me to combat my anxiety and depression, and I've also brought one of my children to him. The medicines he's put me on seem to have helped, though I would like to have other ways to help deal with my issues as well. He doesn't seem to understand children of trauma, though. When he saw my child, he said the issues we were seeing were simply because this particular child was strong willed and passionate. When we had the same child go through an evaluation elsewhere, the diagnosis was a moderate to severe attachment disorder, and persistent depressive disorder with some anxiety troubles on the side. Given this child's background and struggles, this made much more sense to us, but Dr. Lee didn't see the need to meet with the child anymore after one visit. I still rate him moderately rather than poorly because he's helped me, but I was very disappointed with the treatment for my child.

A friend with a child in a similar situation had a very similar experience with him, where he suggested that the child was merely passionate. He also said there must be something wrong at home since the child didn't act up in school as much (which is a very typical symptom of an attachment disorder). This child had been taken from a traumatic background into a loving home. The child has since progressed to acting up in school and becoming violent both in the home and at school. Needless to say, he's been diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses and is receiving treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Lee is a reasonable choice for adult psychiatry, however I would never recommend taking a child of trauma to him. This just does not seem to be his area of expertise.

I have had a very bad experience with this doctor and his supposed "treatments". Not only did he make a horrible misdiagnosis - he failed to recognize key symptoms of abuse when the abuser was in the room with me.

I saw this "doctor" when I was five years old to about ten I would say. I am legal age now. I was sexually abused and physically abused in my home until custody was taken from my grandparents. Dr. Lee took my aggressiveness and sadness as Bipolar NOS. He did not respond well to the obvious signs of abuse.

I recently contacted a counselor about my medical record. Mind you, I saw about 6 psychiatrists and 12 counselors from the age span of 2-5. They stuck with him because he would give me drugs to make me sleep 20 hrs a day and not talk about their horrible abuse. I wish I could sue this doctor for my pain and suffering!

It is obvious that this doctor only wanted to please my grandparents, who regularly took me to appointments to get a 5 year old sedatives. I mean, are you kidding me?? A five year old - SEDATIVES?? This doctor only cares about one thing and that is the dollars. As long as you are a regular parent of a child, he will entertain any idea you have. I'm sure he wouldn't care if you said your child jumped off the roof - he would believe the parent before the child.

I believe, though I have not pulled the medical record, that Dr. Lee's diagnosis was ADHD, ODD, and Bipolar NOS. Now, Dr. Lee, why is it that as soon as I got OFF your meds, I was making straight A's all through school. 3.95 unweighted GPA. I have been non medicated for almost 8 years now. When I was under Dr. Lee's care, I was making D's and F's. He prescribes the wrong medications.

When I contacted a local psychiatrist, he told me that when I was young, I used to say that I enjoyed it when my grandfather hit me with the belt - that it was okay since I deserved it. That's what they used to tell me. I also used to cry and beg not to send me home with them and throw a tantrum at 3 yrs old because I didn't want to go home. I had a lot of anger as a child due to violent beatings and regular sexual abuse. Psychological abuse was also a part of this. ALL which Dr. Lee missed.

Do yourself a favor, please. Never take your children to this doctor. He might be ok for adults, but not for a child. I lived about 40 miles away from him. He was the only one who would treat me without evaluation in a hospital, if that says anything. The others were surely onto something about the abuse.....

Not only was their advice completely unbiased, it was practical, realistic advice that I could implement into my everyday life, and it worked. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. As soon as I walked in the door, I noticed their credentials displayed prominently. It made me even more confident that I was seeing someone who knew what they were doing. I spent less then fifteen minutes in their waiting room. It was great not to have to rearrange my schedule at all for my appointment.
