although Dr. Stashower is booked about 2 months ahead, he is worth the wait if you don't have an emergency. He is fairly conservative about treatment, but that said, doesn't hesitate to be aggressive if need be. I had a split lip that wouldn't heal for many months. He gave me a prescription cream. That didn't work. Next, he did some cryosurgery (freezing) at the site. He said that if that didn't work, I should come back in immediately, so rule out skin cancer. Fortunately, that did the trick. He also successfully treated my rosacea.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Stashower. I'll just leave it at I highly recommend him as a dermatologist

I recently visited Dr. Stashower for a routine checkup as part of my annual physical. While the checkup was uneventful he did say he could easily get rid of the rosacea on my face with 2-3 laser treatments. While I was not even aware of or initially concerned about this condition, he was convincing in the fact that he would make me "look better and feel younger". As a result, I completed 2 treatments costing approximately $600 each with no change at all in the condition. At that time, he decided to try a topical gel, which also did nothing.

When I contacted the doctor to discuss my frustration, his office manager said she would be the person to discuss this situation. In our phone conversation while acknowledging the unsuccessful treatments she refused to give even a partial refund on the $1,200 and stated "you signed a release which states we do not guarantee results". I explained that I am a consumer who paid a significant amount of money for basically nothing. She stated "she understands, but we cannot do anything". Bottom line is that the doctor could do something, but will not. Since this doctor obviously will not stand behind his work, I suggest not using his services.

I had this odd lump on my shoulder that i came in to get checked out. Dr.Stashower knew exactly what it was and told me i had skin cancer. I was lucky that he found it early on, so the damage was minimal. He might have saved my life and i feel like i owe it to anyone who needs help to send a recommendation your way

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. Dr.Stashower removed the mole on my back well and with almost no marks left behind. His staff was very professional and weren't hard on the eyes. I am happy i went to him and if i have any other skin related problems, i will visit him again.

I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. I love how attentive they are here. Even when notified that they have a personal phone call, they always wait to take it later. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable.

Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. I told everyone how great they were the first chance I got.
