Dr Banta, is the best. He was straight up and to the point. I like that, don't beat around the bush. He got me in, did what needed to be done. And I'm doing great now. Back surgery L3,4 and 5. If ever I have to do this again , I will go to him.

I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. They could use some improvements with the equipment they use here. It is fairly current, but it wasn't very impressive. Remembering clients by name is not a very big concern for the staff here because every time I come in for an appointment I sometimes have to remind them who I am. It would be nice to be recognized more often. I wasn't greeted when I walked in the door but they looked up and saw I was there. They weren't friendly even one bit. They were extremely rude, abrasive, and impolite. This doctor not only over medicated me by mistake post operatively but he also destroyed my back to the point I am disabled. If you ask any questions at all they quickly become rude and at one point he accused me of faking pain to stay off work in addition to calling my primary doctor to share his opinion. My doctor ordered an MRI and discovered 3 addition discs causing extreme pain. I can't have surgery for 7 years because I have nerve damage from this incompetent physician. Go any where else!

Dr. Banta may be a brilliant surgeon but he needs to get some people skills. He performed a quite extensive surgical procedure on me and I recovered well, as expected. After my surgery, I asked several questions and the Dr. acted as if he didn't have time to talk with me. He was in such a hurry to leave. I asked several times about the surgery and all he would say was that there were no problems, but he did so in a very brisk voice that implied that he was irritated at me for asking. Once he even asked me why I kept asking him about the surgery. I replied, until you answer my questions. To that he turned and walked out of my room. I did not see him again. I was discharged by another doctor. I requested my operation report for my physical therapist. I did receive it in a timely manner. Only then did I discover that during my surgery, Dr. Banta found a cyst that he removed. This was why my incision was much larger than expected. I am thankful that he found the cyst and removed it, but I feel that he should have discussed this with me after surgery.

No, I will never see Dr. Banta again nor will I recommend him to my friends, family and/or enemies.
