egotistical, rude, uncaring, - all the traits you don't want in a physician and all belong to Gary Tigges. Feel sorry for his partners who have to share with the horrible decision of bringing him in their office.

They should have him leave as his horrible reputation reflects also on them. It did not take me long to leave and could not believe how rude he was to my husband. Really in the wrong profession. His staff also needs to leave with him as his rudeness rubbed off on them.

He is a nasty man. He said I should miss work even though I’m sick because I don’t deserve to make as much as makes on my normal work day. He’s a pig. He also makes nasty comments to women on his Twitter.

I had been going to Dr. Tigges for over 10 years when I got sick and had to bring my sick two-year-old with me to an appointment. During the appointment, my son was babbling loudly, and the "kind" doctor told me I needed to, and I quote "shut him the hell up!" I was shocked. He left the room before helping me with my complaint. I immediately requested to speak with the office manager. I then reported him to the Texas Medical Board. In additon to that comment, he also told me I should give my son a spanking to get him be quiet. SHOCKING BEHAVIOR from a man who has taken the Hippocratic Oath to "do no harm." I was in tears and so was my son. Beyond horrifying experience! This was a doctor whom I had previously trusted for many years. He showed his true colors loud and clear that day.

Dr. Tigges is wonderful. He has treated my entire adult family of 5 for over 6 years and has never made an incorrect diagnosis. Dr. Tigges does not recommend unnecessary testing and he does not rush the visit.
The practice does such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. The nurses return calls before the end of the day and are true professionals!
