I have been under Dr. Petak's care for a number of years, and I have always found his care to be medically excellent, his explanations of problems and treatment to be articulate and thoughtful, and his travel slideshows on the office computers to be fantastic.
Dr. Petak was first my ob-gyn doctor (that's how long I have been seeing him). As his studies took him further, he became "Dr. Bonescan" to me for years--and the slideshows got better, too, as he was asked to lecture all over the world on these scanning techniques.
Unwilling to rest on these laurels, he became super-proficient in endocrinology. Fortunately for me: I had developed and he found and is watching a small parathyroid tumor to make sure it does not do something bad. I need to say also say that for the last thirteen years I have lived in the Middle of Nowhere East Texas, 5 Hours from Dr. Petak's office: he's worth the trip. I just hope that all this learning and lecturing doesn't mean he will have no time for slide shows!

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in
