When I knew I was going to need surgery, I knew exactly how to find the best ENT. I didn't ask my doctor who would not have any idea about how any surgeon was in the operating room. Instead, I simply asked several operating room nurses that worked throughout the Pittsburgh area. When they all said Dr. Scolieri, and the fact that he even operated on one nurse's daughter, I knew I was the best hands. He is a gifted surgeon as all the operating room nurses had said, and a brilliant, and compassionate doctor as I found out myselt. My friends all say how they can't see my incision, and better yet, I am cancer free. Could not recommend anyone more highly.

the employees that work is the Oxford Drive office are AWFUL!! 1st they told me not to diagnose, since I am not a doctor, when i explained what the problem was. They were not at all accomadating in trying to get me an appointment. Also, 1 hour befor my scheduled appointment they called and canceled. When i expressed my displeasure, they told me not to feel bad for myself, but feel bad for the person in the operating room. I don't care how great a doctor is, I refuse to subject myself to the horriable treatment of his staff.

I cannot even begin to express how great Dr Scolieri is. When I first met him, I thought he was interuptive, but then I realized he was trying to get to the bottom of my problem. Although all the other doctors who failed to help me always seemed nice and always agreed with my diagnosis of sinus, it was Dr. Scolieri who did not care for my diagnosis. Instead, he questioned me incessantly about my symptoms. He quickly came to a different conclusion. At first, I did not easily accept his diagnosis because how could 3 other doctors be wrong? However, after he cured me I came to realize how all the other doctors never questioned my diagnosis, and I have never gone to medical school! Dr. Scolieri was the only one who actually wanted to get to the bottom of my problem. The others were nice, they gave me an antibiotic because that is what I thought I needed and sent me on my way. What I really needed was a good doctor, not useless drugs. Dr. Scolieri is the best doctor EVER!!!

He is condescending, dismissive, and rude. If you want your concerns to actually be heard I'd recommend choosing a different doctor.

I have recently suffered multiple health issues requiring visits to numerous doctors. I felt like nobody was taking my complaints seriously or just passing me on to another physician. Just when I was about to give up, I was referred to Dr. Scolieri. He spent the most time with me out of all my encounters, and arrived at a diagnosis I was not willing to believe. However, since I was at my wits end, I underwent the testing he recommended and started the treatment as prescribed. All I can say is that I now feel wonderful. He is the most caring physician I have ever met. I recommend him highly. In fact, I have already referred several family members and friends, and they rave more about him at gatherings than I do. The medical community is lucky to have such an wonderful asset.
