Went here because of friend recommended. First time visit presented insurance card. No problem. They said they accept our insurance. Saw one of the doctors a few times. Got stuck with a bill today over $3000.00. Found out just because they said they 'accepted' our insurance won't mean wife is covered. Technically patients are supposed to ask 'Is this clinic IN-NETWORK?' What a bunch of crooks. CARING FOR WOMEN would have had me and my wife go bankrupt paying for her care up to delivery without letting us know our insurance does not cover anything there. No wonder the rude hag at the desk kept saying 'You will be billed AFTER the delivery.' When they would have taken us to the bank by billing us over ten thousand dollars without coverage. Bunch of no good, deceiving con-artists peddling cheap medicine here. CARING FOR WOMEN MY A$$. Lining their pockets by charging cash for out of network would-be mothers. These people make me sick. Received a padded bill of over $2900 today for one session of ultrasound.

These people are too focused on money. I called for an appointment specifically asking to see Dr. Burgey and they gave me a time. When I get there, they tell me the Physician Assistant is seeing me. Why would I pay co-pay and charges to see a Specialist, to see a PA. Also, the PA I saw had no experience and had to call a second consult on another PA. I didnt meet either of the gynecologists that day and I had gone in just to have a specialist look at my condition since my PCP had already looked at it. Very disappointing.

Eh. I began going to Caring for Women when I was pregnant with my first child. The staff were always very polite and knowledgeable, but no one EVER answers the phone! They have 2 secretaries up front, and the phones just ring and ring.... It is the only thing I didn't enjoy about my experience with them. I continued to use them for annual visits, but since finding out I am pregnant again, I am going to attempt to find the doctors office that makes me feel 100% cared for, rather than the 75% I get at CFW. I've left 2 messages for an appointment and still haven't gotten a call back.
