Dr. Ronald Cypher has been my doctor for some time now and when I began to have severe stomach pains I went to my PCP and was referred to my gynecologist. We talked over my symptoms and then my treatment options, I had gunpowder endometriosis. Within a month I was in excruciating pain and could barely take it, as it turned out I had had it for a while. Dr. Cypher helped me through my pain by educating me and not masking my problems with drugs. He was educating me throughout - telling me here’s what we will do next and here is why. I had a laparoscopy, a D&C, and finally a full hysterectomy, after each procedure a personal phone call from Dr. Cypher! A prominent doctor and member of our community made time to personally check in on me and see if I had any questions, which I always did, and he was very patient and thoroughly answered every one! He took the fear out of the procedure and what would happen after and I am very grateful! I recommend him 100%!!

I see Dr Cypher as my OB and although the wait times can sometimes be excessive he is normally pretty good (though I've caught him on a rare day where he doesn't seem to answer any of my questions and just is dismissive) So for that I say about 3 stars is efficient. Now, I like Dr. Dryden because she was extremely kind. She was the doctor when I was in labor with my son (who's now 5 months old). Although she was kind, I am very upset with her because when she preformed my emergency c-section she sliced into my sons forehead!! That, in my opinion, is completely unforgivable. It might not have effected him long term but no mother expects her 2 minute old child to have a freaking slice in their forehead. Furthermore, they didn't even tell me! They let me find out when I was taken out of the recovery room to my room to see my family. I think she's a nice doctor but I wouldn't recommend her to anyone I know.

I WAS ACTUALLY THERE TO SEE A DIFFERENT PHYSCIAN AND AFTER WAITING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR 50 MINUTES I WENT TO ASK IF THEY FORGOT ABOUT ME AND THEY SAID OH THE PHYSCIAN YOU WERE SEEING HAD TO GO TO THE OR. I THOUGHT THANKS FOR TELING ME AND LETTING ME WAIT 50 MINTUES. SINCE I HAD ALREAY WAITED 50 MIN I SAID I WOULD SEE WHOEVER, WHICH ENDED UP BEING DR. CYPHER. I HAD SEEN DR. CYPHER ONCE IN THE PAST AND HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE THEN ALSO MANY YEARS BEFORE IN REGARDS TO AN INFECTED C-SECTION SCAR.

THIS TIME I SAW DR. CYPHER, AND I DID THANK HIM FOR SEEING ME SINCE I WAS NOT ON HIS SCHEDULE, BUT HE SPENT NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AND WHEN I ASKED HIM ABOUT BREAST PAIN HE SAID WELL YOU SMOKE. I HAVE SMOKED FOR 15 YEARS AND NEVER HAD BREAST PAIN. SO I MYSELF ELECTED TO HAVE MY BIRTH CONTROL SWITCHED. HE DID WRITE THE PRESCRIPTION. I TOOK THIS TO THE PHARMACY BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE PHARMACY LOST THE PRESCRIPTION AND WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP IT WAS NOT THERE.

SO I HAD TO CALL DR. CYPHERS OFFICE. BUT EVEN THOUGH WHEN I WAS IN TO SEE HIM HE GAVE ME A PRESCRIPTION FOR DEPO PROVERA WHEN I CALLED BECAUSE OF THE PHARMACY LOSING THE RX THE STAFF SAID I HAVE TO HAVE A PREGNANCY TEST, WHICH I THINK IS A LITTLE RIDICULOUS THAT HE DID NOT ASK ME TO DO THAT BUT NOW I HAVE TO. I WORK IN OB GYN AND AGREE IT PROBABLY SHOULD BE DONE FOR MOST PEOPLE BUT AM UPSET THAT I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS WHOLE ORDEAL BECAUSE OF AN INCOMPETENT RUDE PHYSCIAN IN MY OPINION.

I had miscarried and I when to Dr cypher for a follow up. He told me I had to have a d&c.i went in the next day for the surgery. I was told to follow up with him 1 week later. When I went in and was told he was busy to return at a later time which was a inconvenience to me but did. Upon returning I was taken to a room after a long wait. He did not do a check up. I told him I was in pain and he said well we will schedule a ultrasound. 2 weeks after I went in for my ultrasound. I sat and waited for almost an hour when a tech came out and took our slips and said ill be back to get one of you. I was there first and was surrounded by 2 pregnant women. The tech came back out and took one of the pregnant women back. I left and reschedule. I felt like they didn't care about my needs and very distraught. I went home and just sob because of how they made me feel. The following evening I started to hemorrhage.I went to the hospital to find out that he did not remove all of the pregnancy. i could have gotten a sever infection. thank goodness i was already on a antibiotic for my teeth or could have died from a horrible infection.

I'm personally not too fond of Dr.Cyphers Advanced OB GYN. For the first 22 weeks of my pregnancy they told me I wasn't pregnant, simply missing periods and gaining weight from my birth control. Not a good start. Also, I saw doctor Cypher for my 34th week appointment and he asked what I was naming my daughter, when I told him he replied "oh." I saw him again my 37th week check up, again, he asked what I was naming her. This time when I told him he said "thats nice" in a very bitter sarcastic tone. I love his staff and sono tech, they're great. I'm just not too found of Dr.Cypher himself. He could be a little nicer, I mean, he does work with delivering children, it's such a beautiful thing. But when I'm in his office it's just unpleasant.
