Dr. Kalb does not spend more than 30 seconds with patients. He is condescending when asked to explain things, and can't get out of the room fast enough if you question him. You will wait over an hour and 1/2 to see him. Even at 8 am, he is already running 1/2 hour behind. He never shows you x-rays or explains them to you. Don't walk, RUN in the other direction. You do not need to put up with this lack of care.

I only wish that I would have consulted the internet before having my mother become his victim. He is not an expert in his field: he caused more pain and suffering for my mother who was quite active before her fall. He caused a "stress fracture" when placing her hip hardware, and he did not diagnose it for 2 weeks, AND during the surgery to correct the stress fracture he caused an infection that nearly ended my mother's life -- I don't know how a surgeon could want to continue practicing knowing that he is creating greater harm than help. He either needs to retire or get additional training because after we found a much better orthopedic surgeon to take over the case, the new surgeon said that there was a wire wrapped around her femur that was loose and "served no purpose"!!! Please retire Dr. Kalb, and leave orthopedic surgery to the experts.

I couldn't believe how rude and inconsiderate they were. They consistently dismiss my concerns, refused to answer my questions, and when I was able to get a question out before he darted from the room, he simply stated that everything I have been told is wrong, but refused to tell me how or why they were wrong. I don't trust them to ever actually look into my concerns and see if they're valid. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. It was very clear that they felt my daughter and I were unimportant. I went to the office to ask them to have the Dr. sign a form that would allow my daughter to have transportation to and from school during her recovery in the wheelchair. They simply stated "we don't do that". I asked why, they repeated "we don't do that", I said, That is not an answer, they said "Well, that's the one your going to get". I stated I did not understand why they were refusing to sign a paper, stating simply that my daughter had surgery and would be in a wheelchair for 6 weeks, NOTHING MORE. They repeated AGAIN "we don't do that" When I asked them to explain why, they said "Office Policy". I communicated to them I still did not understand, they said AGAIN "we don't do that". Seeing that I was being patronized and treated as though I was not important enough to give a mature or professional response to, I ended the call. IF YOU RECEIVE A REFERRAL TO THIS DR. CALL YOUR INSURANCE IMMEDIATELY AND GET A DIFFERENT ONE! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CHECK THE VALIDITY OF MY REVIEW, please CHECK THIS OFFICES / DR.'S OTHER REVIEWS, you will see that NO ONE has anything nice to say. Wish I would have checked them earlier myself.
