I have been going to Dr. Sax for several years, she is fine and I have a good repoire with her, though she is usually rushed and I am left waiting. The staff however, is less than stellar. I tried to schedule a yearly physical and couldn't be seen for 6 weeks (physicals only on Mon and Tues.) No problem, however, I needed about 6 blood pressure pills to get me by until the appt. Her staff - Tammy/Tamika) said she wouldn't prescribe without me being seen. That is what I was trying to do. Then I saw Dr. Sax and she admonished me for not being on meds for 6 days. Then had to return as they forgot to draw blood! For 2 days trying to get lab results, all staff too busy to get back with me. Patients are left / drug reps treated like gold. Not a happy camper.

response time to phone calls is terrible. I waited 5 hours to be told to go to an urgent center when I was sick with the flu and too sick to go there

I really like Dr. Sax however her office and clinical staff are completely incompetent, lazy and pathetic. I always deal with it however today I was moved to review the facility online so others will be aware before becoming a patient here. The MA, Nikki, is the laziest assistant you will ever encounter. She is always late and hates to move or do anything you ask her. And the office staff cannot handle the simple task of calling patients back in the order of their appointment. I waited over an hour to be called while they called other patients immediately upon their arrival. When I asked for an explanation, all they could say was "Sorry, ma'am." Sorry does not cut it, either tell me why these other patients have precedence or take us in the order of our appointments. They ALL need to be fired and replaced with people who actually have and use their brains!
