I went to dr Merritt for my first pregnancy, and really was NOT happy about having a male doctor, but was very impressed with dr Merritt he never made me feel uncomfortable like many other male doctors have in the past. I am currently seeing him again for a second pregnancy, although I live an hour away from his office now it's 100% worth the drive. Him and his staff are amazing I almost feel like I'm going to visit family when I have appointments. He gives his patients his cell phone number so you can call him if the office is closed. I've NEVER met a doctor who cares about his patients as much as he does. He checks for anything and everything that might not seem right on the ultrasound and is very prompt about getting you to a specialist if needed. I recommend him to anyone who tells me they are pregnant and will continue to do so as long as his office is still open
