THIS DR SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING! MY HUSBAND WAS SENT THERE WITH A 32-34 PULSE RATE.
HE TOLD HIM IF HE FAINTED OR FELL DOWN OR PASSED OUT TO GO TO NEAREST EMERGENCY!! (I THINK HE MEANT IF YOU ARE STILL ALIVE)
WHEN I ARRIVED I SAID "NO" YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING, HE THEN SAID HE WOULD SEND OUT FOR HIS EKG FROM 2 YEARS AGO TO COMPARE. I ASKED HIM IF THEY HAD A FAX MACHINE OR ACCESS TO THE INTERNET SO WE COULD DO THAT RIGHT AWAY?? I KNOW I HAVE ALL THIS TECHNOLOGY AT MY OFFICE!!!!!
AFTER ANOTHER 30-45 MINUTE SCARY WAIT, THE FAX CAME THROUGH, THEY HAD GIVEN THE WRONG FAX NUMBER!!!
HE LOOKED AT THE EKG'S FOR A MINUTE & AGAIN WAS GOING TO SEND HIM HOME DOING NOTHING FOR HIM!
AT THIS STAGE I SAID "YOU CAN NOT SEND HIM HOME LIKE THIS!!
HE THEN SAID "I KNOW WHAT I WILL DO I WILL PUT A PORTABLE HEART MONITOR ON HIM FOR 24 HRS, THEN BRING IT BACK TOMORROW & WE WILL SEND IT OUT TO BE READ & SHOULD HAVE THE RESULTS IN A WEEKS TIME!!!
WE LEFT THERE 7 AS SOON AS I GOT HM HOME SAFELY & INTO BED TO REST I CALLED MID CAROLINA CARDIOLOGY & EXPLAINED WHAT WAS HAPPENING, I WAS TOLD TO TAKE HIM TO RESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL IN CHARLOTTE WHERE THEY MOST LIKELY WOULD PUT A PACEMAKER IN RIGHT AWAY!!
WE ARRIVED AT PRESBYTERIAN EMERGENCY, THEY PUT HIM ON MONITORS & OXYGEN RIGHT AWAY, HE HAD LEVEL 3 COMPLETE HEART BLOCK!!!
HE SAW DR. SHU SHORTLY AFTER ARRIVAL & WAS SCHEDULED FOR A HEART ULTRASOUND AT 8AM NEXT MORNING & PACEMAKER IMPLANT AT 9AM!!!
THANK THE LORD WE DID NOT TAKE DR. KOEHLER'S ADVICE.
IN MY HUMBLE OPINION THIS GUY IS A GLORIFIED CHIROPRACTOR!!
