I found Dr. Calapai to be very professional and informative. He explained the probable cause of any symptoms and the course of treatment he recommended. I found his holistic approach refreshing and effective. I will certainly visit him again and would refer family and friends. It did take a while to see him but I did not feel rushed during my own examination.

I've had pain in my right shoulder for 14 years and have tried physical therapy, massage therapy and had a slew of x rays, MRIs, drugs, etc. to deal with the chronic pain. In less than 24 hours - really less than 24 hours - Dr. Calapi took my chronic pain away with prolotherapy, a safe and effective natural alternative to steroids which actually helps your body to regrow tissue in the area. It's been over 2 months since my first shot and I am able to go to the gym and use my shoulder to its fullest extent without pain. And, all of the "itises" (tendonitis, bursitis, etc.) that I kept coming down with in the surrounding area because I had to overwork the other muscles around the shoulder in an unnatural way to avoid my shoulder pain - are GONE!!!

I have found Dr. Calapi to be very professional and very knowlegable. He spends as much time with each patient that is needed for you to have a thorough understanding of what's going on in your body and how the treatments work, so sometimes you do have to wait to see him, but it is definitely worth the wait - especially when you are the one receiving the in-depth care.

If you are in pain or you are suffering from anything, give him a call to see if there is an alternative therapy for you. Don't suffer needlessly. He gave me my quality of life back in one day (and for $275!!!).

I went to see Dr. Calapi because my Grandmother has Alzheimers and I was interested in being pro-active in preventing the disease in my life as well as I had been very fatigued at the time. I waited for almost 2 hours to see the doctor, which I was told was normal and not too bad. My appointment was at 10:00 am, I was in his office from 10:00 to 3:00 pm! After seeing the doctor I waited forever to recieve a "free B vitamin shot" and then have my blood taken for tests the Dr. felt were necessary.

I assumed the Dr. would be prudent in the tests that he ordered and we did not discuss the specifics of what tests he was ordering.
At the end of my visit I was charged $275 when on the phone I was told it would be $160. I felt the office was not very clean, and not a pleasant place in general. Over crowded, under-staffed.
What has been most distressing to me is the cost of the tests! $1,200! I do, luckly have insurance and the ultimate cost was closer to $750 but due to deductibles I have paid most of that out of pocket and now the labratory is sending me a bill for additional amounts not paid by my insurance. I cannot believe someone would order so many tests without informing a patient of the potential costs.

I have not returned to see the Dr. as I am not interested in waiting 2 -3 hours to be seen and am angry about the lack of communication in the costs.
