They need to treat their staff with more respect. They weren't overly rude but they could have been a lot nicer. It was a little unnerving that they weren't able to answer the majority of my questions. I left feeling a bit confused and frustrated. I was not satisfied with my visit with this provider; I felt confused and uneasy when I left. I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone! I got such poor care here, and wouldn't want anyone else to suffer! They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. He was more interested in performing an unnecesssary procedure. Has absolutely no bedside manner. Was extremely rude when he returned my phone call.

I think Dr. Stein is a fine Doctor and I feel confident in his diagnosis , treatment and prognosis .

I find the Staff to be above average in congeniality which appears to be hard to find in New York City a place where one often encounters practices that are large and have overworked Staff who may do technical tasks well , but seem to forget how important it is for patients to have a good emotional experience where they feel respected , important enough and cared about .

I would highly recommend Dr. Stein and Riverdale Gastroenterology who also appear to see patients on a more timely basis than many other Specialists who are booked up for months .

One thing that I appreciated about this office was their waiting room. The chairs were nice-very comfortable. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. They had a friendly attitude, and made me feel at home. I appreciated the warm welcome. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. I felt secure that my Medical care was in VERY capable hands. The staff is not only professionally but VERY helpful.

They've never been late to any of my appointments. I've even showed up early sometimes and they've always been ready and prepared. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They had the most friendly attitude, and went out of their way to make me feel at home. I really appreciated the warm welcome.
